Job Title: Support Worker (Permanent Position)
Location: Wallington
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Probation: 3 months (Temp rate: £13 per hour during probation)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Support Worker looking to make a real difference? We’re seeking committed individuals to join our team in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs in a structured and supportive environment.


About the Role
You’ll be working with individuals who have a range of learning disabilities and behavioural challenges. This is a hands-on role that requires empathy, resilience, and a commitment to person-centred care.

Shift Patterns:

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to clients, encouraging independence and life skills

  • Deliver personal care with dignity and respect

  • Support individuals with complex behaviours, following agreed strategies

  • Maintain a 3:1 staff-to-client support ratio

  • Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and professionals

  • Accurately complete reports, logs, and documentation

  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and supportive environment


Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards it

  • Restraint Training – essential

  • First Aid Certification – essential

  • Food Hygiene Certificate – essential

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is highly desirable

  • Knowledge of managing clients with allergies is beneficial
