Our client is an award-winning OOH and Urgent care services provider, with services based across the North of England. This client delivers services to patients at the UTCs, via Tele-Health services and through Mobile visiting services.
If you’re experienced, with a Masters level award or equivalent and keen to take on an expanded role within Urgent Care, we would welcome your application.
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, within Urgent Treatment Centres, you will support existing clinical care to enhance the capacity and capability within the multi-professional teams.
You will be responsible for the assessment of health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using your advanced clinical practice skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.

This role will be mainly face to face supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, overnight, weekends and bank holidays.
Patients are referred from NHS 111, GP surgeries and A&E Dept.
You will carry out consultations with patients - taking a comprehensive patient history; physical examinations and use of your expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnosis.
You will decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate,
You will provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
