Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have adequate driving experience and a can-do attitude, ready to take on the challenges of our dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods to various destinations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service, professionally representing the company.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement.
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
- Two contactable references
- Adequate driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours during busy periods.
Minimum Working Hours:
- 9 hours per day, with the possibility of extended hours (up to 11 hours) during peak periods.
- Monday – Friday with weekend work

Please be aware that this driver role opportunity necessitates a candidate who possesses physical fitness due to the requirement of manual labour and heavy lifting. The typical working hours may extend up to 10 to 11 hours per day. Successful candidates who pass the induction might be required to commence work immediately. Additionally, at least two references will be contacted as part of the selection process.
