Role: Support Worker

Rate: £24 000- £27 000

Location : Wallington

Shift Patterns:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with complex needs and behavioural challenges.

• Assist clients in their daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

• Provide personal care and support as needed.

• Work as part of a team to provide a 3:1 staff-to-client ratio.

• Ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of all clients during shifts.

• Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other professionals.

• Complete all necessary documentation and reports as per company requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• NVQ Level 2 (working towards NVQ Level 3).

• Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or similar conditions is preferred.

• Restraint Training (required).

• First Aid certification (required).

• Food Hygiene Certificate (required).

• Experience working with clients who may have allergies is beneficial.

You will be working with clients who may display difficult behavioural issues associated with various conditions, including:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

• Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS)

• Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD)

• Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
