Rate: £24 000- £27 000

Shift Patterns:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with complex needs and behavioural challenges.

• Assist clients in their daily activities, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

• Provide personal care and support as needed.

• Work as part of a team to provide a 3:1 staff-to-client ratio.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

At ThinkLocum, we work with various solicitors, that regularly require psychological reports to assess a claimant’s or defendant’s psychological faculties.  We now require psychologists who are experienced and qualified to undertake and deliver relevant psychological reports.

The Opportunity
You will undertake assessments over a video platform like MS Teams. You will be expected to demonstrate a client’s low IQ and mental competency and show how that has affected behaviour. Other reports may include supporting current psychiatric assessments to demonstrate the effect issues like ADHD have had.

The Candidate
You will need to be a fully qualified Psychologist with the relevant experience and accreditation to deliver reports and undertake assessments. If you haven’t done this kind of work, but you feel like you are qualified, we may be able to help guide you through the process.
Unlike other providers, we pay you a week after you have submitted a report, so you do not have to wait for a conclusion of the case, which sometimes takes months or years!
