We are seeking a Paediatric Neurologist to undertake a medico-legal assessment for a 14-year-old client who sustained injuries in a road traffic accident.

The assessment is required due to the presentation of:

• Aggressive outbursts – attributed to psychological trauma

• Excessive salivation – linked to a soft tissue injury

This is a single-instruction case, and the neurologist will be provided with:

• Hospital records (56 pages)

• GP records (274 pages)
  
  

Requirements:

• GMC-registered Consultant Paediatric Neurologist

• Experience in medico-legal reporting

• Ability to assess both neurological and neuro-behavioural symptoms in adolescents

• Availability to complete and return the report within 10 days of assessment

We are seeking a Consultant Neurologist to assist in a medico-legal personal injury case following a road traffic accident (RTA).

• Turnaround Time: Report required within 10 days of assessment

Case Summary:

The claimant sustained injuries and developed persistent headaches after being thrown across a bus during a sudden stop. A neurologist is required to assess prognosis and potential long-term effects such as post-traumatic epilepsy or dementia, and to provide an expert opinion on causation, condition, and prognosis.

Brief: Our client is 9 years old and has been referred by Orthopaedic Surgeon following a Road Traffic Accident. Paediatric Neurologist are to comment on his ongoing headaches secondary to his head injury.

Our client was a pedestrian when a vehicle struck him. Our client has suffered multiple injuries which include: head injury , nose injury, psychological and other injury details to be confirmed by the medical expert.
