Job Description

This surgery network is focused on ensuring that GPs remain at the core of their services, in contrast to other practices that increase the number of ANPs and PIPs. With flexibility in shift selection, you will have access to a variety of shifts each month, along with opportunities for block bookings. Sessions are typically split into two 4-hour blocks per day.

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00
Rate: £80-£85 per hour (depending on experience and commitment)

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions during patient consultations.
• Manage chronic illnesses and provide ongoing care.
• Prescribe medications and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Emis Web / System One.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide health advice and preventative care.

The Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified GP, registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Active performer on the NHS Performers List.
• Up-to-date with all mandatory training requirements.
• DBS on the Update Service
• Able to provide references covering the last 3 years.
