Calling all ENT Specialist Registrar's (ENT SPR) in Swindon! Our client is a market leading and forward-thinking community healthcare services provider.

This provider support both primary and secondary care services, ensuring a seamless and delivery of Dermatology, ENT and Audiology provision to patients that have been referred from GP services and or NHS Trusts. 

Role: ENT Specialist Registrar (ENT SPR)
Department: Community Ear Nose & Throat
Location: Swindon
Days available: Monday-Friday
Hours: 0900-1800 (or similar)
Rate: £70

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to adult patients in the community ENT service, including new patients and follow-ups.
  • Perform procedures such as treatment of epistaxis, balance assessments, external auditory canal clearance, nasopharyngoscopy, and laryngoscopy.
  • Consult, diagnose, and treat patients with a high standard of care.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team and provide support to administrative staff to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical audits and other quality improvement initiatives as required.
  • Regularly attend team meetings, contributing to shared decision-making and the continuous improvement of services.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must be a fully registered Doctor with relevant qualifications in Otolaryngology (ENT) and hold full GMC registration.
  • Experience: Significant experience in diagnosing and treating ENT conditions, including surgical interventions, within a UK medical setting. Prior experience in both primary and secondary care is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compliance: Up-to-date with all mandatory training, including safeguarding, infection control, and other essential healthcare certifications.
  • Professionalism: A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care, adhering to the latest clinical guidelines, and participating in ongoing professional development.
