Job Description

We are seeking a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in hand and upper limb injuries to carry out a medico-legal assessment for a client involved in a head-on vehicle collision. 

✋ Role: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon – Hand & Upper Limb Specialist

📍 Location: OL16 (Rochdale) – In-Person Assessment Required
📅 Assignment: RTA – Persistent Hand Pain
🕒 Report Submission: Within 10-14 days
💰 Pay: £1000

The client is experiencing ongoing bilateral hand pain, and an expert opinion has been specifically requested by the Barrister.

This case includes over 10 000 fully paginated medical records, and the report should address:

• Extent and cause of hand injury

• Functional limitations

• Treatment needs and prognosis

• Medico-legal opinion on causation and impact

📌 Requirements:

• GMC registration with subspecialty in hand and upper limb surgery

• Experience producing medico-legal reports

• Appointment availability within the specified timeframe

• Willingness to assess large case files and provide detailed opinion
