Job Description

We are currently seeking a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in knee injuries to undertake a medico-legal assessment for a client who sustained a left knee fracture following a Road Traffic Accident.

🦴 Role: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon (Knee Specialist) – Medico-Legal Assessment
📍 Location: Hetton-le-Hole
💼 Assignment Type: Road Traffic Accident – Expert Witness Report
💷 Pay: £400 per completed report
📅 Assessment & Report Submission: ASAP

📝 Case Summary:

• The client reports ongoing pain, stiffness, and discomfort in the left knee
• The injury is the result of a recent fracture sustained in an RTA
• A face-to-face examination is required in Hetton-le-Hole
• Medical records are being sourced (volume to be confirmed) and will be provided for review
• The report should cover causation, condition, and prognosis

✅ Requirements:

• GMC-registered Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
• Subspecialty experience in knee injuries or trauma
• Prior medico-legal reporting experience preferred
• Ability to provide a timely assessment and high-quality expert report
