Job Description

We are seeking a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in foot and ankle injuries to carry out a medico-legal assessment for a client with ongoing symptoms following a posterior malleolar fracture sustained in a Public Liability incident.

📍 Location: Bradford
💼 Assignment Type: Public Liability – Expert Witness Report
💷 Pay: £400 per completed report
📅 Assessment & Report Submission: ASAP

📝 Case Summary:

• The client sustained a comminuted posterior malleolar fracture with ligamentous damage to the left ankle

• Ongoing pain and functional impairment are reported

• A face-to-face examination is required in Bradford

• 114 pages of medical records will be available for expert review

• The report should provide a comprehensive opinion on causation, condition, and prognosis

✅ Requirements:

• GMC-registered Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon (Foot & Ankle Specialist)

• Proven experience with medico-legal assessments and reporting

• Ability to interpret complex fracture and ligament injuries

• Availability to complete the assessment and submit the report promptly
