Rate: £48 - £55 (Days) / £60 - £65 (Nights)

The Role
A busy Urgent Care Centre (UCC) seeking experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPs) to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment that prioritises high-quality care. As an ENP, you will work both autonomously and collaboratively to provide outstanding care to patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries. You’ll be a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, committed to delivering excellent urgent care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage minor injuries and illnesses.
- Provide care for both adult and paediatric patients.
- Use Patient Group Directions (PGDs) to administer treatments.
- Document patient information accurately using Adastra.
- Collaborate with the wider clinical team to improve patient outcomes.
Compliance Requirements:
- Professional Registration: Current NMC registration as an ENP.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of managing minor injuries and illnesses, including paediatrics.
- Qualifications: Accredited minor injuries and minor illness qualifications.
- DBS Check: Enhanced DBS Certificate (preferably on the Update Service).
- Mandatory Training: Up-to-date certificates in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Immediate Life Support (ILS)
- Safeguarding (Adults & Children)
- Infection Control
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Right to Work: Proof of UK work eligibility.
- Immunisations: Evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, and TB.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
