Position: Children Service Social Worker

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Children Looked After Team.
- Ability to commute to work (no parking on-site) and attend the office at least twice a week.
- Resilience and commitment to providing high-quality social work support.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine needs and risks.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with children, families, and relevant professionals.
- Provide direct support and intervention to children and families, addressing safeguarding concerns and promoting their well-being.
- Monitor and review the progress of children and families regularly, making adjustments to plans as necessary.
- Liaise with and coordinate services from other agencies, such as schools, health professionals, and community organizations.
- Attend and contribute to meetings and reviews, including child protection conferences and case conferences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
- Advocate for the rights and best interests of children and young people, ensuring they are actively involved in decision-making processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in supervision, training, and development activities to enhance professional practice.
- Keep abreast of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, and apply them effectively in practice.
- Respond promptly to crises and emergencies, providing support and protection to children and families as needed.
- Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct, promoting the values and principles of social work practice.
